Canton, Mass. — Tweeter Home Entertainment Group has named Jim Bengier to the new position of VP/supply chain.
In his new role, the 23-year retail veteran will be responsible for developing best inventory practices. He will also work with Tweeter’s merchandising department on store planning and with the company’s marketing research department to study Tweeter’s customer demographics.
He will report to Philo Pappas, senior VP/merchandising.
Bengier’s background includes stints with Woolworth, Ames, Marshall’s and most recently BestBuy.com.
