Valhalla, N.Y. – Turtle Beach announced founders Carmine Gonanno, CEO, and Fred Romano, executive VP and COO, are retiring.
Both will remain on the board of directors, and Gonanno will be replaced as CEO by Juergen Stark. When asked if anyone would be replacing Romano, a company spokesman said nothing was being announced today.
The gaming accessory manufacturer said Stark’s appointment was done by its board of directors.
Stark was previously COO for Motorola Mobility Holdings’ mobile devices business, as well as CEO of Centerpost.
