Wayne, N.J. – Toys “R” Us is accepting used iPods this week in
exchange for up to $100 in credit toward the purchase of new ones.
About 550 of the chain’s 845 stores are participating in the trade-up
program, which is the company’s first for iPod.
Customers (over 18) will be issued trade-up cards for up to three
pre-owned iPads in working condition. The promotion runs through Oct. 23 and is
available in-store only.
The trade-up program
follows last year’s launch of a trade-in program for video games, and the
rollout of pre-owned titles last month.
