Las Vegas – For
the second year in a row, THX will
present its THX Certified Professional Home Theater 1
workshop here during January’s International CES.
The workshop introduces custom installers to THX’s
theories and principles of home-theater design, room acoustics and product
certification. The course will help installers assist clients with the
selection of home audio and video equipment, system setup and basic
calibration, the company said. The
workshop is a prerequisite for other THX
workshops, including the THX
Certified Professional Video Systems Calibration course.
is available for $500 until Jan. 2. Onsite registration
is available during the show for $600.
The course will be held on the show’s fourth day on Sunday, Jan. 10,
from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in Meeting Room S224, South Hall of the Las Vegas
Convention Center (LVCC).
