New York — Sirius XM showed a photo of the new Sirius iPhone App due for release during the next five weeks at a shareholder’s meeting today.
Sirius XM also indicated that its iPhone/iPod Touch Apple will be joined by applications for other smartphones that will stream Sirius programming to the devices in a presentation at the shareholders’ meeting that was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Earlier this month, Scott Greenstein, Sirius XM president and chief content officer, said the upcoming iPhone app will stream extra “showcase” channels for talk, music, news and sports using Sirius talent.
