New York — Sirius Satellite Radio has extended its agreement to provide Sirius service to DaimlerChrysler through Sept. 1, 2012.
The agreement includes all Chrysler Group and Mercedes-Benz vehicles as well as Freightliner Trucks.
Sirius said that over 750,000 subscribers are expected to be generated from the Chrysler Group for the 2006 model year.
Sirius is available as a factory-installed option on 2006 model year Chrysler Group vehicles, under the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands, with one year of Sirius service included in the option price of $195.
