Sanduski Joins Sharp As Strategic Marketing VP

MAHWAH, N.J. —

Jim Sanduski has joined Sharp Electronics
Marketing Company of America (SEMCA), a division
of Sharp Electronics Corporation, as strategic product
marketing VP, a new position.

Sanduski comes to Sharp from
Panasonic Consumer Electronics,
where he was sales senior
VP. Panasonic said it has not
named a replacement.

Sanduski takes over responsibility
for the marketing and development
of Sharp’s entire home
entertainment product portfolio.

A new product development
team will be formed by Sanduski and he will lead Sharp’s
entry into next-generation products in the CE space, according
to the company.

He reports to John Herrington, president of SEMCA.

A 20-year veteran of both the CE and IT industries,
in addition to Panasonic, Sanduski previously held
executive-level sales and product marketing roles at Hewlett-Packard and Samsung.

“I’m very excited to join Sharp at this important juncture,”
said Sanduski in a statement. “I look forward to
helping the company expand its leadership in the large
screen LED TV category while building on the company’s
strength in other CE categories.”

Herrington commented, “Jim’s experience and expertise
in CE marketing makes him a great addition to Sharp’s
leadership team. We are pleased to have him leading our
home entertainment product marketing and development
efforts, and we’re confident he will help us accelerate our
market growth.”
