Ridgefield Park, N.J. – Samsung Electronics America said Thursday that it is now offering its NX1100 mirrorless compact system camera (CSC) nationwide, with built-in Wi-Fi and AutoShare, bundled with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.

The compact interchangeable lens camera bundle carries $600 suggested retail price.

“Never before has Samsung offered a Smart Camera with this level of image quality and AutoShare at this price point,” said Ron Gazzola, Samsung Electronics America digital imaging VP. “Bundled with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4, the NX1100 is a great introduction for photographers in the CSC category and ideal for consumer photographers looking to upgrade their photo taking, editing and sharing experience.”

The camera features a 20.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, shutter speeds of up to 1/4000 seconds, a 3.0-inch LCD screen, and FullHD 1080p video capture.

A Smart Camera 2.0 feature allows establishing a Wi-Fi connection with the touch a dedicated Smart Link Hot Key button on the top of the camera.

Samsung makes a Smart Camera App available for both Android and iOS mobile device users to create a secure connection with the camera.

The NX1100 will also detect and auto-connect to mobile devices using AutoShare, which automatically sends full resolution images and video to a mobile device; Mobile Link, which transfers images to a smartphone; and Remote Viewfinder, which allows camera control from a smartphone or tablet.

The $149-value retail value copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 allows importing, managing, enhancing and showcasing images within one application.

The NX1100 also offers 10 exclusive Smart Filters and a new Selective Color function that isolates a single color in an image for a dramatic effect.
