Van Nuys, Calif. — The PowerHouse Alliance and its members reported they recently completed the organization’s annual national sales meeting and “Mid Term Exam” event held at Volutone’s new facility, here.
The event, held for four days July 16-19, drew 13 PowerHouse members and 25 core vendors, according to Dennis Holzer, executive director of PowerHouse.
Vendors from all categories attended, including residential A/V, security, IT and commercial A/V, Holzer said.
Two days were spent with each member meeting one-on-one with each vendor for 30 minutes and discussing their individual business to date and their plans/goals for the back half of the year, he noted.
At the end of each meeting, each member and each vendor were required to complete a report/progress card on one other, which was then given to Holzer for his one-on-one individual meetings with each vendor and member to discuss the grades received, he added.
Holzer said members then met as a group-only meeting for two days, planning strategies, adding additional vendors and reviewing goals year to date for 2013.
