Port Washington, N.Y. -The NPD Group said it has signed a multiyear information-sharing agreement with Adorama, a leading photo specialty retailer.
Under the agreement, NPD receives point-of-sale data from Adorama, which will increase NPD's tracking coverage of the imaging retail market and provide its partners with a more robust view of market activity.
As a member of NPD's retail panel Adorama will receive access to NPD's information services for such product categories as digital cameras, imaging accessories and consumer electronics. Adorama will become part of NPD's panel this year.

"Working with Adorama will allow us to not only deepen our understanding of the digital imaging marketplace, but it will help us deliver a more comprehensive view of this ever-changing market."
