Nintendo In Meeting Room, Not CES Floor

Arlington, Va. – Nintendo of America will be at the 2011
International CES in January, but in a meeting room and not on the show floor.

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) issued a correction on
its press release dated

Monday,
Nov. 22

, saying it “erroneously included [Nintendo] on a list of companies exhibiting on the
show floor at the 2011 International CES. Nintendo has contracted for meeting
room space at the 2011 CES, but will not be exhibiting on the show floor. CEA
regrets the error.”

According
to Monday’s report, more than 35 exhibitors will display the latest gaming
technology advancements across 9,800 square feet in the Gaming Showcase,
located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Among the companies participating are AMD, Hewlett-Packard,
Intel, Lenovo, LevelUp, Logitech, Microsoft, Nokia and Sony, as well as other
manufacturers, developers, publishers and retailers.
