Phoenix – Mitek said a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction stopping 7 Elephants Distribution from selling its MDX line of audio products.
Mitek requested the injunction because the MDX trademark infringes Mitek’s MTX trademark.
In its ruling, the court stated that any further advertising or sales of the MDX products by 7 Elephants will be considered contempt of court. The ruling will remain in effect until the case between Mitek and 7 Elephants goes to trial, said Mitek.
