Two buying groups, MARTA Cooperative of America and NATM Buying Corp., will be moving their executive offices to new locations this fall.
MARTA, currently headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., is setting up shop in Paramus, N.J., effective Oct. 1. According to executive director Warren Mann, the new negotiation office is located near the U.S. headquarters of more than 20 CE and white goods manufacturers, and will ostensibly increase the group’s contact with key vendors.
Mann added that MARTA’s Scottsdale office will remain fully staffed and continue to provide operations and support services for the independent dealer co-op.
In contrast to MARTA’s transcontinental relocation, NATM’s move is much shorter: across the street. The group, whose lease is expiring on its midtown Manhattan headquarters, has found new offices around the corner on Seventh Ave. and 33rd Street. It takes occupation on Nov. 1.
Both groups said they would release new contact info at the time of their moves.
