Mahwah, N.J. – Marantz America
will sponsor the 21-city U.S. tour of classical and rock violinist David
Garrett.
The tour sponsorship includes an integrated
marketing campaign to support key retailers, Marantz said. The tour will also generate
music content for Marantz’s new
and the company’s social media platforms.
Garrett, who is popular in Europe, recently
performed live on NBC’s “
”
and unofficially kicked off his U.S. tour with a “flash mob” performance at New
York City’s Eataly restaurant, where he performed a version of Michael
Jackson’s “
“
The tour starts this month.
Kevin Zarow, Marantz America
sales and marketing VP, called Marantz and Garrett a good match. Marantz
products are designed to “deliver an extremely high-quality and emotionally
connected listening experience,” he said. Garrett “conveys both the excitement
and emotion of classical music while engaging younger audiences with his
stunningly modern rock and pop compositions,” Zarow said.
