New York — LittleBits has teamed with Korg to extend its collection of magnetic electronic module toys.
The LittleBits Synth kit lets users build their own sound machines with signal generators, modifiers, modulators and controllers; multiple kits can be used together to create more powerful instruments, and they can be connected to recording or live sound equipment. The Synth Bits can also be used with previous-generation LittleBits kits.
Twelve electronic Bits are included in the kit, which will ship Dec. 6 for $159. Step-by-step instructions for 10 projects, including a keytar and a paper-plate turntable, are also included.
LittleBits’ kits are sold through a variety of e-tailers, including Amazon.
