Nashua, N.H. – Jabra has
time with the company’s voice-control technology and multimedia capabilities.
The Stone2 can make,
receive and reject calls using voice control, and users can hear the name of
incoming callers. Other alerts include connected indicators, low battery and
the setup process.
As with Jabra’s Wave
, the Stone2
will be able to use the Jabra World of Apps for such things as playing music
and receiving GPS directions. The Jabra Stone2 iPhone app features four
“solution videos” said to highlight everyday situations where headsets and apps
can improve a lifestyle.
The World of Apps
aggregates apps that can be used with Jabra products, the company said, and
includes voice-enabled apps that let users send texts and emails with their
voice, read email messages, and update status on Facebook, among other tasks.
The headset comes with
four different sizes of ear gels and a wireless portable charger that doubles
as a carrying case. Talktime is listed at 10 hours with the charger. Suggested
retail is $129 — it will be available Nov. 22.
