Port Washington, N.Y. – iLuv Creative Technology has solved one of the decade’s greatest problems, the bad selfie.
The new iLuv Selfy line includes a protective case for the most recent iPhone and Galaxy models with a built-in wireless camera shutter for easier selfies, and photography in general. The Line also adds a tripod and three mounting accessories.
The Selfy case, available for the iPhone 5/5s and Galaxy S5, has a dual-layer, shock-absorbent design with a small handheld Bluetooth remote button integrated into the case that slides out when it’s time to take a quick photo and slides back in flush when done. It controls the phone’s shutter with one touch, without relying on a third-party app. “The result,” iLuv said, “is an easy, intuitive experience that allows users to capture better, more expressive images.” A phone can be held or placed several feet away to fit everyone into the picture before the shutter button is pushed.
The Selfy line includes four accessories that slide into the Selfy remote’s slot. They include a lightweight mini tripod with flexible legs, a pivoting bar mount for bicycles and motorcycles, a helmet mount and an adjustable windshield mount.

The Selfy case has a $49.99 suggested retail and will be available in black and pink at iLuv.com/Selfy and select retailers this month. Retails for the mounts range $19.99 and $24.99 and will be available later in May.
