Tarrytown, N.Y. – Hitachi
America, has named Kensuke Oka as president and CEO.
He succeeds Chiaki Fujiwara,
who has been appointed deputy general manager of sales and marketing division
and marketing integration and strategy division, industrial and social
infrastructure systems company in Hitachi Ltd.
Oka is currently general
manager of the intellectual property group, a title he’s held since April 2009.
The appointments will be effective as of Oct. 1.
