Aurora, Ill. – hhgregg has leased a
new, 247,360-square-foot distribution center (DC) here as it prepares to enter
the Chicago-area market this fall.
According to a report by CoStar
Group, a commercial real estate information firm, the CE and appliance chain
signed a 66-month lease for the property, which will service upwards of 26
Chicagoland locations.
hhgregg began recruiting in April to
fill about 40 positions for the new facility, which is expected to be
operational by August.
