Indianapolis – hhgregg is expanding its Florida footprint into the Southwest corner of the state.
Two years after opening its first Sunshine State stores in Northern and Central Florida, the multiregional CE and majap chain is planning two locations, in Naples and Fort Myers.
The company has begun recruiting to fill about 100 positions at the two new stores.
At the time of its entry in 2008, hgregg said Florida would be the company’s focus for the next two years. “Florida continues to show tremendous growth, and the demographics of the retail market support the products we offer,” marketing VP Jeff Pearson had said.
