HE2004 Returns To NYC In May

The Home Entertainment Show (HE2004) returns to the Big Apple showcasing a wide variety of consumer electronics and digital imaging products from May 20 to 23 at the Hilton New York hotel.

The Hilton, site of the 2001 and 2002 shows, is expected to greet 15,000 attendees. The first day of the show is reserved for members of the trade and the press, while consumers will have the next three days to visit the show in exhibit rooms found on several floors of the hotel, according to the show’s organizer Primedia Publishing.

Products such as audio, digital video, home theater, computer and digital imaging equipment, accessories, DVDs, CDs and even LP recordings will be displayed. Just some of the manufacturers and local retailers in attendance will include Harvey Electronics, Sound By Singer, Hewlett-Packard, McIntosh, MartinLogan, Monster Cable, Polk Audio, Runco, Samsung, Shure and Sony.

Plus there will be a new Digital Imaging Pavilion, where attendees can see highlights of advancements in imaging convergence technology, plus seminars on HDTV, home theater, video recording, vinyl recording, SACD and DVD-Audio formats.
