Harman Names Rogers VP/GM

Northridge, Calif.
– Harman International Industries has named Dave Rogers VP/GM, Americas, Harman
Consumer Division.

Rogers will report
directly to David Slump, president of Harman Consumer Division, and will be
based out of Harman’s Northridge, Calif., campus.

The company said in
Rogers’ new role he will “aim to improve the profitability of Harman’s
strategic retailers and partners; speed up Harman’s delivery of new products to
market; and upgrade the company’s customer marketing, sales distribution and
supply-chain activities.” Rogers will also be responsible for driving increased
sales revenue across all consumer-product categories.

Rogers joins
Harman following a 15-year career with Klipsch Audio Technologies, where he
held senior-level sales and marketing positions across the United States.

Most recently
Rogers was sales VP for the Klipsch, Jamo, Energy and Mirage brands, where he
was responsible for driving the revenue growth of mass-market retail and
movie-theater audio in Latin American markets. His other responsibilities
included planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies, driving
sales growth, and maintaining and securing retail distribution.
