Fesco’s N.Y. Event Draws 1,200

Flushing, N.Y. – Fesco Distributors held its annual fall dealer
event at Citifield, here.

The event, held at the two-year-old home of the New York Mets,
featured 40 vendors and drew about 1,200 attendees, said David Goldstein,
Fesco’s sales and marketing director. The Brooklyn-based Fesco distributes to
independent specialty retailers in the metro New York area.

Newcomers to the event this year were iHome, Lingo, RCA and
Kenwood, Goldstein said.

The heart of the show is Fesco’s hot deals area, he added.

“People are looking for the deals this year on digital cameras,
LCD TV and headphones,” he said.

He added that there is interest in 3D TV, but the price is still
keeping customers away.

Goldstein was confident the upcoming holiday period would
generate healthy sales, and he is telling his dealers not to get caught without
inventory.

“The dealer that does the best will be the one that has the
inventory,” he said.
