Eye-Fi, SanDisk Team For Euro Product Line

photo files, announced Wednesday that it has reached its first partnership
agreement with flash memory giant SanDisk, starting in Europe.

market a line of Eye-Fi-enabled SD memory cards for the region, with the
possibility of extended the arrangement to additional markets around the world
at a later time, Eye-Fi CEO and co-founder Yuval Koren told TWICE.

The San Disk Eye-Fi wireless memory card allows consumers to
instantly transfer photos and videos from a camera to a nearby smartphone or
tablet; when within range of Wi-Fi, the files can glide seamlessly to a
computer. Consumers can then organize and share the content to social media or
online sites.

SanDisk will market two SKUs differentiated by storage capacity –
a 4GB and 8GB. Both feature Class 4 minimum sustained write speed, 802.11n
wireless performance, automatic backup, social media integration and Endless

Pricing will vary by country and retail account.

Consumers who purchase the card will also receive access to
Eye-Fi services such as Eye-Fi View, a cloud-based storage solution.

For the U.S., Eye-Fi continues to directly distribute its line of
cards with NAND flash memory supplied by Samsung throughout the U.S. at both
specialty stores and at retailers including Best Buy, Target and WalMart.

The company also recently increased distributions in Japan.
