DIY Networks To Air Custom-Install Reality TV Series

LAS VEGAS –

The DIY Network
is using International CES to announce
“Hollywood Wired,” the first
TV series devoted to lifestyle electronics
and custom installation.

Each week, DIY Network documents
lifestyle-technology expert
Janna Robinson as she goes into a
Hollywood star’s home to give one
room the ultimate technology makeover,
using cutting-edge, high-end
gear to completely transform the
space, the network announced.

Robinson has appeared on numerous
TV series, including “The
Today Show,” “Tori and Dean:
Home Sweet Hollywood,” “Extra”
and “Dress My Nest.” She has been
a spokeswoman for brands like Philips
and DirecTV, and has appeared
in such publications as Time, Real
Simple, Home, and InStyle Home.

Premiering in June, the series will
feature some of Hollywood’s bestknown
celebrities, including reality-
TV star Khloe Kardashian, basketball
champion Lamar Odom, and
“Entourage” star Kevin Connolly.
The celebrities are involved in the
entire makeover process, from the
initial consultation with Robinson
through construction and installation
to the unveiling of the finished
room.

DIY Network is announcing the
series at the Crazy Horse Paris at
the MGM Grand, here, at 6:30 p.m.
Hosted by Robinson, the event will
feature celebrities, leaders from the
electronics industry, and clips from
the show.
