Vista Calif. — DEI Holdings, parent of Directed Electronics, Polk Audio and Definitive Technologies announced two executive management changes.
Mike Simmons has been promoted to the newly created position of executive VP DEI Holdings, from his former post as president of Directed Electronics.
Also Kevin Duffy will assume Simmons’ previous post as president of Directed Electronics while retaining his current post as CFO of DEI Holdings, said the company.
In his new post Simmons will be responsible for finding and executing synergy and efficiency improvements across all DEI Holdings business units.
CEO Jim Minarik said DEI Holdings’ brands will remain unique, “However, it has become increasingly clear that we must also continuously optimize our operations in order to drive long-term earnings and deliver industry leading customer service.”
