Minneapolis — CSAV Holding Corp. announced it has transitioned to a new name, Milestone AV Technologies, Inc.
The CSAV name represented Chief/Sanus Audio Visual and was a result of the 2004 merger between Chief Manufacturing and Sanus Systems.
“Milestone reflects the many achievements over our 30-year history as a business. While our focus in the market remains on our brands, we realized the need for a more encompassing identity to convey our broad range of global solutions and capabilities for the A/V market,” said Milestone CEO Scott Gill in a release.
While the corporate parent name has changed, the company’s daily operations have not. Suppliers and customers can reportedly continue to do business with the primary operating subsidiary CSAV, Inc., without change. The company said it expects that over time it will transition the Milestone name to all aspects of the business.
Milestone, with its primary operating subsidiary CSAV, Inc., is a designer, manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded audio/visual mounting equipment and display solutions. Its products are marketed under the Chief, Sanus Systems, iC and Vuepoint brands.
