CA Rolls Out 2GB Flash Drive With Security Suite

Islandia, N.Y. — CA recently announced that it has released its CA Internet Security Suite 2007 and CA Desktop DNA Migrator 2007 software on a pair of 2GB credit card-sized flash-drive memory cards.

Once the CA software is installed, the flash cards can be used to transport 2GB worth of personal content.

The drive can come preloaded with CA Internet Security Suite 2007, or a combination of both CA Internet Security Suite 2007 and the CA Desktop DNA Migrator 2007, called CA Secure and Store flash drive. Both programs work with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, and the flash drive is designed for use with Windows Vista ReadyBoost technology, which can speed applications and boot-up time for Windows Vista systems.

The flash drives are manufactured by Ultra Products and work with Windows 2000, XP or Vista systems. They require one available USB port with a USB 2.0 interface, but are also compatible with USB 1.1 ports; typical transfer speed is 480Mbps. The drives also come with a limited lifetime warranty from Ultra.

The flash drives are available at most major electronics with a suggested retail of $69.99 for the CA Internet Security Suite flash drive and $79.99 for the CA Secure and Store flash drive.
