Aliso Viejo, Calif. — Internet retailer Buy.com earned $411,000 in the third quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with a $5.6 million loss during the year-ago period.
It was the company’s fourth consecutive quarterly profit.
For the nine months ended Sept. 30, net income was $2.1 million on sales of over $300 million, the company said.
“These earnings cap one of our most successful 12-month runs in company history,” said president/CEO Neel Grover.
The e-tailer, which marked its 10th anniversary this year, placed No. 38 on TWICE’s Top 100 CE Retailers rankings.
