BrandSource Signs Citi

Anaheim, Calif. – BrandSource,
the $14 billion furniture, appliance and CE consortium for independent dealers,
has developed a private-label credit card program with Citi.

The BrandSource
credit card, available to consumers in April, offers lower rates and better
terms for members, including a 12-month promotional rate of 1.99 percent and a
24-month no-interest promotion at a cost of less than 1 percent, CEO Bob
Lawrence told attendees at the group’s spring summit last month.

The card will also
provide BrandSource customers with special rebates and offers, and a simple
application process, including in-store credit approval.

“We are extremely
excited to partner with Citi Retail Services,” Lawrence said. “Citi’s expertise
across the payments and retail industries and its ability to deliver both an
integrated marketing campaign and the high-level support to our network of
dealers sets them apart from other providers. This new program delivers a
significant competitive edge for BrandSource and our network of dealers, and
will ultimately benefit our customers.”
