Peabody, Mass. – Boston Acoustics announced its first OEM agreement to supply speakers to car manufacturers.
The company said it entered a multi-year joint development agreement with Visteon to deliver premium audio systems to select car manufacturers. Said Boston Acoutics’ vice president of sales, Bob Spaner, ‘We’re going to work together to deliver Boston branded systems to a select group of automobiles.’ Under the agreement Visteon will combine its expertise in vehicle acoustics, electronics and systems integration with Boston Acoustics’ expertise in sound.
