Arlington, Va. – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) today
announced that Audi chairman Rupert Stadler will deliver a keynote address at
the 2011 International CES.
Stadler’s keynote is slated for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 6 —
the opening day of the show — in the Las Vegas Hilton Theater.
“Advanced technology is at the heart of Audi’s DNA and is
contributing to their continuing gains in global market share,” said Gary
Shapiro, CEA president and CEO. “We are excited to welcome Rupert to the CES
stage and look forward to hearing his outlook on the future of Audi and the
ongoing relationship between the consumer technology and automotive markets.”
Stadler was named chairman of the board of Audi in January 2007,
and also sits on the board of Volkswagen. He joins Microsoft’s
, Verizon’s
and Samsung’s
as 2011 CES keynote speakers.
Additional speakers for the 2011 CES will be announced in the
coming months, CEA said

scheduled for Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas.
