Manufacturing said on Monday it would begin shipping a line of Cobra-branded
universal device mounts in the spring.
All of the models are
designed to be installed without tools, and all feature adjustable locking
joints for ease of viewing while allowing full access to all device ports and
controls. Mounts are installed using the company’s Ever-Last BreakAway adhesive,
said to leave behind zero residue. Stickiness can be revived by spraying with
glass cleaner, Aries added.
The new models include a
cigarette lighter mount ($24.95), GPS/PDA device mount ($24.95), headrest mount
($24.95), and universal weighted base ($19.95), which has a hard plastic center
that provides a mounting surface for use with any brand of device mount.
Also included in the line
are the Cobra universal Mini mount, meant for GPS, MP3 and smartphone users,
and the universal Flex mount with a flexible neck design for use on glass
surfaces. Both are $19.95. The universal Anti-Stick Double Stick Pad ($9.95) is
engineered to rest on any dash to hold CE devices.
There is also a
universal tripod desktop stand that has a $19.95 suggested retail.
