City of Industry, Calif. – Adata Technology has introduced
the SX900 series of solid-state drives (SSD) for the aftermarket.
Adata, a maker of DRAM and flash memory, has shipped four
SSDs into the U.S. and Canadian markets.
The drives come in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB
capacities with respective prices of $119, $189, $329 and $669. The drives are
compatible with notebook and desktop computers.
The SX900 series features SATA III interface and a
SandForce 2281 controller. Data transfer speeds are in the 530MBps range.
