Irvine, Calif. — Former Paul’s TV & Appliance VP Daniel Kenny was named U.S. brand marketing director for Bosch appliances.

Kenny, who led the marketing and merchandising functions at Los Angeles-based Paul’s TV, moved to nearby BSH Home Appliances, which makes, markets and sells the Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau premium appliance brands.

In his new role, Kenny is responsible for all U.S. marketing efforts and reports directly to BSH CEO Michael Steinle.

His appointment comes as Bosch moves beyond its well-established dishwasher niche to offer a full gamut of kitchen majaps, and follows this year’s launch of over 100 new models.

At Paul’s TV, his duties included merchandise management, digital marketing, e-commerce, and vendor relationships. He also helped conceive and implement Paul’s store-within-a-store expansion strategy of placing premium A/V boutiques within large-volume furniture chains.

“By utilizing my experience within the retail industry, I plan to work alongside key Bosch dealers to heighten the customer’s in-store experience and sustain customer satisfaction after the point of purchase,” Kenny said in a statement.
