Myers joins NFM from Gabby and Summer Classics, an Alabama-based manufacturer and retailer of luxury outdoor and antique-style furniture, where she held the same title. Her 20-year career also includes stints at Krafts Foods and Spiegel Catalog, and she brings expertise in omnichannel marketing and business analytics, NFM said.
She succeeds Tony Arnold, who assumed the post a year ago.
In her new role, Myers will be responsible for “creating and executing the overall strategy of the marketing division, helping NFM achieve alignment and consistency across all marketing channels while helping to elevate the customer experience,” the retailer said.
“We’re very excited to welcome Amy to the Nebraska Furniture Mart team,” NFM president Tony Boldt said in a statement. “Her experience, talent, leadership and energy will help us continue to move our business forward.”
