Nationwide Marketing Group Launching WIN: Women In Nationwide At 2019 PrimeTime

Inaugural luncheon on Aug. 18 to feature a panel discussion and presentation by author Jody Urquhart

The first inaugural meeting of WIN: Women in Nationwide will take place this Sunday, Aug. 18 at 12 p.m. CT. WIN is a new group recently launched by Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) focused on supporting and developing female business leaders within the independent retail channel.

“We are very fortunate to have a strong contingent of talented women spearheading business development and growth within our membership, at our vendor partner organizations and across Nationwide Marketing Group itself,” said Jennifer Danko, vice president of technology at Site on Time, a Nationwide Marketing Group company, and a founding member of WIN in a statement. “We look forward to bringing these gifted business leaders together in New Orleans to share our unique perspectives and strengths, and identify new pathways that encourage women at all levels to explore leadership roles they may not have considered before.”

Sponsored by Wells Fargo, the WIN luncheon features a panel discussion with female leaders from across the industry that addresses a variety of topics including recent accomplishments and how women can best support each other to help drive business success.

“Diversity and inclusion are core to Wells Fargo, and we are honored to sponsor WIN’s inaugural event that recognizes the contribution of women and diverse members of the appliances, electronics, furniture and bedding industries,” said Chad Lyon, president E&A Group, Wells Fargo CDF about WIN. “For more than 25 years, we have supported Nationwide’s member growth and our shared vision of advocating for women’s success in the retail industry.”

Author of All Work & No Say, Jody Urquhart, will deliver a humorous and inspirational presentation after the luncheon, showcasing how female leaders can use their unique talents to influence, energize and engage their colleagues for mutual success.

The WIN luncheon is open only to PrimeTime attendees. Tickets are free, although advance registration is requested. To reserve your spot, visit http://bit.ly/NMGWIN
