Headphones supplier Cleer has named Patrick Huang as its new global president and CEO. Bob Bonefant, the previous president, has left the company.
Huang assumes his new role immediately.
Prior to joining Cleer, Huang served as senior VP of operations and supply chain for I Am Plus Electronics, the tech company founded by Will.i.am. Prior to I Am Plus, Huang was an executive with Sony for 11 years, most recently as GM for Sony Digital Imaging. In that position, he oversaw all U.S. sales, marketing, product planning and supply chain activities for digital still camera and camcorder businesses.
Huang has an M.B.A. from Michigan State University with concentrations in marketing and supply chain management.
