TCL revealed its plans for 2024 at CES at Monday’s press conference by declaring they will continue to “inspire greatness” by “raising the bar” in 2024. TCL is upgrading its TV, mobile, and appliance categories, focusing on innovations with new and expanded QD-Mini LED TVs and staking a claim in the tablet market with its NXTPAPER tablets and mobile phones, available in the U.S. market in the coming months.
“In 2024, we are going all in. We are going bigger, better and beyond,” said Mark Zhang, president, TCL North America. “Coming out of such a strong 2023 has TCL excited to up the ante this year as we prepare to launch more innovation, including the world’s largest Mini LED TV at a jaw-dropping 115-inch screen size. In order to turn one of the world’s largest TV manufacturers into America’s preferred consumer electronics brand, we will also continue to invest our resources beyond televisions so TCL’s audio, mobile, and home appliance categories become just as successful.”
TCL currently ranks as the second best-selling brand in the U.S., with 2023 seeing exponential growth. A partnership with the NFL has helped bring fans of the sport better picture and deeper colors and blacks with TCL televisions, and TCL is aiming to improve even more in 2024 with the introduction of new S Class and Q Class models with three new sets at the Q6, QM7, and QM8 levels, and, most notably, the new flagship QM8 level mega-size 115-inch QM891G, the world’s largest QD Mini LED TV.
In S Class, TCL introduced the new S5, a best-in-class 4K UHD level that offers up to 25 percent more brightness and will incorporate the TCL AIPQ Processor for the first time at the S Class level to ensure the bright images are also sharp and clear.
A highlight of TCL innovation, the TCL NXTPAPER 14 Pro and TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G tablets, both for the U.S. market, were showcased alongside the announcement of the brand-new TCL 50 Series, TCL’s fifth generation of smartphones. The 50 Series leads off with five models dedicated to the U.S. market: TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G, TCL 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G, TCL 50 XL 5G, TCL 50 XE 5G, and TCL 50 LE. TCL also debuted TCL NXTPAPER 3.0, the latest generation of TCL’s pioneering display technology.
TCL also introduced new offerings in its Dolby Atmos soundbar lineup with the Q75H and Q85H models, which include Ray-Danz acoustic waveguide reflectors for a super wide sound stage. The new S Class soundbars include the S45H and S55H models, which are upgraded with Dolby Atmos, Auto Room Calibration, TV as Center Channel Mode, and a new cosmetic design.
Attendees were given a short glimpse at the functionality of the RayNeo X2 Lite, glasses that build on the groundbreaking full-color binocular, wave-guided OLED displays of the previous generation. The lighter and more stylish design also means they can be worn longer in real-world conditions.
TCL also teased the audience with promises of more announcements to come in early 2024 as it continues to build out its range of exciting appliance and home products in North America.
