Jabra made headlines last week when it announced its first biometric headphones. Although not the only company to offer biometric headphones (SMS Audio partnered with Intel just recently for a similar device), combining audio with fitness wearables is certainly a winning combination with plenty of room for multiple players.
Jabra’s Sport Pulse Wireless ear buds can pair with a smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0, allowing athletes to receive real-time voice coaching via Jabra’s included app. They feature a built-in heart-rate monitor, Dolby Digital sound, and in-line mic and controls. The ear buds, said to be encased in carbon fiber, are sweat-proof.
They will be available at the end of the month for a $199 suggested retail.
