Panasonic Adds DSC-LX3 Firmware Update

Secaucus, N.J. – Panasonic said Monday it has produced a new firmware update for the DMC-LX3 high-performance digital still camera.

Firmware version 1.3, which is available here, is said to offer improved auto white balance performance; improved auto white balance performance in sunset mode; improved recovery operation from unremoved lens cap; improved operation of MF assist/AF area selection; and improved display of many exposure assistance.

To make the update, users are instructed to download the zipped firmware software to the PCs, click on the file to uncompress the contents and store on an SD card of 8MB or greater.
