TOKYO —
Tablet PCs and new 3D TV systems emerged
as the key trends of CEATEC 2010, here, as Japanese
manufacturers introduced some of the world’s first glasses-
free 3D TV solutions.
The showcase also provided Panasonic with an opportunity
to unveil some new concept products to illustrate
its expanded direction into eco-tech technologies for the
home
Among the show’s highlights were glasses-free 3DTVs
from Toshiba and Sharp.
Both companies also introduced Android-based ebooks
based on LCD screens as their answers to Apple’s
iPad.
