San Francisco – Jawbone
added to its popular Bluetooth headset line with the introduction of the
Jawbone Era, said to use motion technology.
The company teamed with Fullpower-MotionX
to create what they’re calling the first headset with a built-in accelerometer
integrated with the patented MotionX platform. The Era is engineered to detect
a user’s natural movements.
Users can also say,
“Shake, shake” to pair the headset, or they can say, “Tap, tap” to answer or end
a call. The Era has a wideband speaker that is 25 percent larger than previous
Jawbone models, and it also has the company’s NoiseAssassin 3.0 noise-canceling
technology.
The Era is offered in Shadowbox,
Smokescreen, Midnight and Silver Lining designs for $129. It’s currently
available.
