Chester Springs, Penn. – Azione Unlimited (AU), the education/buying group for A/V integrators and custom retailers, said Monday it will present its first-ever “vendor only” summit Oct. 27-28 at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The two-day summit will take place prior to the IPRO conference and will offer “Prescient Planning” conferences to assist AU vendor members with creating more value for Azione dealers, developing marketing plans, and preparing a road map for 2015.

The group said the program is being co-located in an effort “to bring more vendors to the IPRO event in order for all parties to work together to improve relationships, share ideas, and work together to build vibrant businesses.”
The meeting will adjourn 30 minutes prior to the start of the IPRO conference. AU members are invited and encouraged to participate, according to a group statement.
“I’m a firm believer in planning. Getting together with our vendors in an open forum setting to work on six salient issues is energizing,” stated Richard Glikes, AU president. “Additionally I’ve always enjoyed reps and have supported them in every way possible over the years. By bringing our vendors to their event, we hope to create a milieu of cooperation and understanding.”
The 2014 IPRO Conference, which will run Oct. 28-30, will address the current market changes, challenges faced by individual firms, and the growing opportunities available in the audio-video industry.
David Humphries, IPRO president, said: “This event is unusually productive because manufacturers, representatives, allied associations and industry experts work closely to increase efficiency and effectiveness. The result is increased support for our customer and increasing sales for all. I know of no other conference where this collaboration and focus can produce this amount of strategic information.”
This year’s conference will feature presentations from five industry experts and numerous workshops. The Celebration Banquet will take place Oct. 29 at the Golf Course Resort.
