Orlando, Fla. – ProSource, the A/V dealer and custom integrator division of the BrandSource buying group, has scheduled a full slate of seminars, keynotes and best-practices forums for its annual spring Summit here next month.
The event, which piggybacks BrandSource’s own Summit & Expo, will be held March 1-4 at the Orlando World Center Marriot.
On tap are keynote speeches by senior executives from key ProSource vendor partners, including Frank Sterns, audio video specialty/custom integration VP at Sony Electronics; Jeremy Burkhardt, CEO of Origin Acoustics; and Jim Caudill, CEO of D&M Holdings.
In addition, this year’s “Town Hall” meeting, a popular open forum and idea exchange between manufacturers and members, will feature Martin Plaehn, CEO of Control4 and Joe Lautner, business development director for Core Brands, while Sheri Griffin, president of ProSource member Home Theater Design Group, will moderate the best practices Roundtable Discussions session.
Educational seminars will include such topics as building RMR; staff motivation; wireless control; HDMI’s Rev 2.0 4K deployment; Wi-Fi networks; client care programs; energy storage; and streaming entertainment, while new ProSource vendors making their Summit debut will include Origin Acoustics, Stewart Filmscreen, ihiji, D-Tools, One Firefly, Leon Speakers, Alarm.com, Cambridge Audio, SurgeX, Inada and BDI.
