HTC’s poor financial performance in recent years could be playing a role in the Vive VR’s delay.
“HTC’s Vive VR headset, initially expected to hit shelves sometime this month, will instead reach consumers in April-more than a year after its debut. “We remain committed to delivering the HTC Vive to a broader group of content creators and partners, and remain focused on delivering the very best experience possible for a consumer release,” the company wrote in a blog post.”
