Sceptre Fills In LCD TV Line

CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIF. –

Sceptre recently
unveiled a range of new LCD TV models to fill in its
product range for the holiday buying season, including
a new budget-friendly 37-inch FullHD 1080p
model.

The X372BV-FHD ($499 street retail) is available
from a range of mass merchants and e-commerce
sites, including Sears, Target, Amazon, Kmart and
Newegg.

The set is said to have a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, a
slim/lightweight design with sleek silver trim and a
quick 6.5 ms response time.

Also featured is an auto dynamic contrast enhancement
and Energy Star 3.0 compliance, with
approximately a 20 percent energy savings compared
with earlier models.

This X372BV-FHD has a 30 degree swivel screen and
equalizer settings for audio-level adjustment and control.

Inputs include three HDMI ports, a VGA port and
USB connections.

The 37-inch set joins the new 32-inch X320BV-HD
($399) wall-mountable 720p HD model, featuring a
stylish black bezel with silver trim design and swivel
capability.

The 32-inch set features 1,366 by 768p HD resolution,
a 420 cd/m2 brightness level, 6.5ms response
time, auto dynamic contrast (3,000:1) and EnergyStar
3.0 power savings of approximately 32 percent.

Audio is handled by two 10-watt speakers, and
inputs include three HDMI inputs and a VGA port.

The new budget models join recently introduced new
SKUs in the GX-1 LED LCDTV/DVD combo series.

Highlighting these new models is the 23-inch
E230BD-FHD ($399) LED TV, PC monitor and builtin
DVD player.

This unit features 1080p resolution, a 5ms response
time, and auto contrast enhancement that
balances color while reducing energy consumption.

Other recently introduced sizes in the GX-1 series
include 19-inch and 24-inch — all featuring embedded
DVD players.

The series is distinguished by glossy black,
curved-front cabinets.

Panel thickness on the combo units measures 0.9
inches at its thinnest point and 2.15 inches at its
thickest.

All models are Energy Star 3.0 compliant and include
dual HDMI ports and a USB port for photo/
audio file playback.

The company shipped prior to the holiday season
the 42-inch E420BV-F120120Hz LED HDTV ($999),
as part of its advanced Galaxy Series, which is distinguished
by a slim, lightweight design.

The new 42-inch LED HDTV has Full 1080p HD
resolution, 450 c/m2 brightness and 4,000:1 constrast
ratio. It weighs 38.6 pounds and measures
0.9 inches and 1.75 inches at its thinnest and thickest
points, respectively. It is Energy Star compliant,
saving about 36 percent more energy than earlier
42-inch models.

Other features include an audio equalizer, a USB
port and five HDMI ports (three side-mounted).

A distinguishing feature is the tempered-glass
swiveling stand with beveled edges. An HDMI cable
is included with the model at no extra cost.
