TEAC Adds to Audio Tally in Capitol’s Catalog

EAGAN, MN – Capitol, the leading consumer electronics distribution source for residential systems and light commercial contractors, now offers TEAC audio products, bringing the longtime audio favorite’s extensive selection of consumer audio products to the distributor’s dealer base.

TEAC is one of four divisions of TEAC Corporation, a $1.2 billion manufacturing company headquartered in Japan. For more than 30 years, TEAC has introduced an extensive selection of high-performance digital and analog audio products that are among the most respected in the consumer electronics industry today. Included in the TEAC line-up are digital and analog audio products of every stripe, including amplifiers, D/A converters, headphone amplifiers, network audio, turntables, Bluetooth streamers, speakers, PC audio, cassette recorders, and more.

“I can’t think of another brand so intrinsically part of our industry that covers so many bases with a stellar reputation for each and every one,” said Curt Hayes, President and CFO, Capitol.

For more than 30 years, TEAC has developed products for every segment of the sound and music industry. From the high-end audio professional in a major post-production studio to the novice or hobbyist at home, TEAC is everywhere. The company committed to providing its customers audio/video solutions that enable breakthroughs by using sound in ways that are as exciting as they are accessible.

One of TEAC’s more popular consumer models is the –MC-D800CH. This LP/Tuner/CD Player/ NFC/Bluetooth receiver meets the needs of anyone’s music library. The retro-modern design and separate two-way speaker pairing offer benefits that most competing products can’t. The MC-D800-CH provides a classic design, fit for any home or office interior. TEAC stepped up the game by including separate speakers. This ensures users can crank their stereo and get better sound reproduction without worrying speaker vibrations will interfere with the performance of the device or the play MC-D800-CH.

New in 2015 is the TN300 Turntable. This belt-drive analog record player with a stylish chassis containing an MM Phono equalizer amplifier with USB output. The TN-300 supports Phono and Line output, which allows listeners to play vinyl with a stereo that isn’t equipped with Phono input. End-users can transfer music from vinyl records to a Mac or PC, using the USB digital output. CD quality digital archiving with the USB output preserves a vinyl collection and also allows consumers to enjoy vinyl records with a smartphone or Digital Audio Player. Using Audio-Technica’s AT95E VM cartridge, the TN-300 lets listeners enjoy high accuracy tracking sounds as soon as it is set up. The TN-300 is the perfect turntable for any music lover, from first time users to audiophiles, who appreciates high quality sounds and sturdy yet stylish design.

Also, TEAC recently launched the HR-S101-BB, a stereo component system comprised of the AI-101DA, a stereo integrated amplifier with D/A converter, and the LS-101, High-resolution stereo speaker. Users can enjoy High-resolution audio by linking to their computer using the USB-Audio DAC feature and also enjoy music from smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth. HR-S101, as part of the Reference series, with its compact size and quality components, is to be the best starter system for High-Resolution audio.

“Capitol is one of the more forward thinking distributors in CE,” said Luis Iraheta, National Sales Manager of Teac America. “Their sales team has the background and knowledge to recommend audio products that fully integrate into nearly any whole house system, and their knowledge of the TEAC is second to none. We’re looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Capitol and its extensive customer base.”
