Denmark-based Libratone, the supplier of multiroom Wi-Fi speakers, is venturing into the portable Bluetooth speaker market with the $149 Too and $199 One Click.
The One Click is available, and the smaller Too will be available July 1.
They will join the Wi-Fi-equipped $249 Zipp Mini and $299 Zip, both available since last December. The two also incorporate Bluetooth.
The One Click is shaped like a paperback book to fit in a backpack, while the smaller Too is shaped like a water bottle. Both sport a Scandinavian design aesthetic using a combination of fabric and rubber. Both are also IPX4 splash-proof and available in multiple colors.
Both mono speakers deliver 360-degree sound, connect to two Bluetooth sources simultaneously, deliver more than 12 hours of battery life, charge via microUSB, and double as speakerphones. Two can also be used simultaneously to play back the same source to boost volume.
The One Click steps up to two-way drivers with passive radiators, and the Too features two full-range drivers and passive radiator.
Last December, the company shipped its current two portable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth speakers to bring the company’s wireless-speaker technology to lower price points.
