New York metro area chain P.C. Richard & Son is encouraging customers to begin their holiday shopping now by guaranteeing a slew of Black Friday prices for 30 days from purchase.
An eight-page circular released Sunday by the CE, bedding and appliance powerhouse promises to refund 100 percent of the difference if a product purchased at P.C. Richard is advertised for less within a month.
Top items include a 60-inch Samsung 4K/SUHD smart TV (model UN60JS7000) for $1,299, down from $2,100, and a 65-inch 1080p JVC TV with Roku streaming stick for $645, from $1,000.
The price guarantee is limited to brick-and-mortar stores and authorized e-tailers, and excludes limited-quantity doorbusters sold during Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday sales events. The retailer explains the program here.
And in keeping with tradition, the family-owned business, and its 66 New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Philadelphia big-box stores, will remain closed on Thanksgiving.
